The altitude of the ski area of 1450 to 2450 meters guarantees snow from the beginning of December to the end of April. The extensive and sun-drenched slopes of the largest ski area in the Pitztal make the Hochzeiger a popular family ski area. 9 modern mountain railways ensure quick and easy transport to the top, 40 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes, 90 percent of which are over 2000 meters above sea level, for variety. Skiing on the nearby Pitztal Glacier is even possible from mid-September to mid-May. The free ski bus takes holidaymakers easily from Jerzens to the Gletscherexpress, which takes them quickly up to a true piste paradise. All in all, Jerzens offers versatile skiing pleasure with numerous easy to difficult runs, glacier slopes, wonderful powder snow slopes and firn snow slopes. The snow park above the middle station and a 6-kilometer toboggan run, which also invites you to toboggan at night on Thursdays, promise more winter sports fun. You start at an altitude of 2000 meters, through the forest it goes rapidly to Kaitanger in the immediate vicinity of the valley station.
